Dialogue
Most of the decisions that define a piece are made before any intervention takes place.
This photograph captures a moment of observation. A period devoted to studying the structure of the fragment, identifying its growth patterns and understanding the transformations accumulated within the wood over the years.
Before any action comes interpretation. Every fold, every tension and every variation in the surface provides information that will shape the work that follows.
In CHRONOX, observation is not a preliminary stage of the process. It is a fundamental part of it.
The intervention begins when there is a sufficient understanding of what stands before you.
